# Plans

Every Cloud workspace is either Free or Pro. You see the current plan in **Workspace settings → Plan and billing**.

Self-hosted workspaces are not on a plan. History is not limited there.

## Free and Pro

Yearly Pro is 10% off (€75.60 per seat per year).

During early access, the first 3 months are 50% off. Monthly Pro is €3.50 per seat for those months, then €7. The first yearly invoice is €66.15 per seat; later years are €75.60.

On Free, a banner in chat reminds you that older messages are removed after 90 days. Upgrading does not bring back messages that are already gone.

## Who is a seat

Only **home members** of the workspace are paid seats. People marked **External** (guests from another workspace on Cloud) do not add to the bill.

## What you do not get on self-hosted

If the desktop app is signed into your own server, **Plan and billing** is hidden. There is nothing to upgrade.
