StepFi's reputation system is fully on-chain, powered by the reputation contract on Stellar testnet.
Score Calculation
A learner's score starts at 50 and changes based on:

| On-time installment payment | +2 to +6 |
| Late payment (within grace period) | -2 |
| Missed payment | -8 |
| Profile completion | +8 |
| Mentor vouch (Silver tier) | +12 |
| Loan fully repaid | +10 |
| Default | -30 |
Reputation Tiers

| Bronze | 60 to 74 | 8% APR | $2,500 |
| Silver | 75 to 89 | 6% APR | $5,000 |
